The XXL 3 tool case is a robust and versatile solution designed specifically for electricians, offering convenience and efficiency in any work environment. Its unique design features fold-out legs, allowing electricians to use the case as a sturdy stepping stool, eliminating the need for a separate ladder on various job sites. The lid raised position ensures quick access to tools, while a V-shaped incision in the lid facilitates on-site material sawing.
The case is IP55 rated to ensure maximum protection against dust and water penetration, making it ideal for use in challenging work environments.

As the industrial designer behind the Wiha XXL 3 electrician tool case, I embarked on a mission to not just meet, but surpass the needs of electricians. A unique challenge arose: how to integrate a versatile ladder option into the case, eliminating the need for extra equipment on job sites. The solution? Heavy-duty foldout legs, transforming the case into a secure stepping stool.
This innovation required meticulous design and engineering for seamless functionality and safety. Rugged design elements were incorporated to ensure durability in any environment, while carefully selected materials, including impact-resistant and foaming materials, provided both strength and a sleek finish. Enhancing usability, we added an integrated trolley handle and extra-large rubber wheels for easy transportation over any terrain. The Wiha XXL 3 electrician tool case represents a pinnacle of innovation, durability, and functionality, setting a new standard in professional tool storage solutions.
